Event Details
Throughout January 2016, 501(c) Agencies Trust – the nation’s largest and oldest nonprofit unemployment management program – will launch a state-wide roadshow to educate nonprofit executives of their financial advantages when it comes to managing their unemployment costs.
Fortunately 501(c)(3)s do not have to pay California unemployment insurance taxes. Most California nonprofits could save as much as 40% on their unemployment tax by opting out of the California State Unemployment Insurance tax system, while still providing benefits to separated employees.
Hundreds of California nonprofits are using the services of 501c Agencies Trust to help them save an average of $30,000 annually. By participating in the Trust, these organizations not only save money, but also gain access to unique avenues to strategically handle unemployment claims administration and unemployment insurance taxes in ways for-profits can only dream about.
